Moose Hill Books is interested in
publishing your fiction or non-fiction manuscript.
Our expertise is working with authors who have never been
published. Currently, we are accepting quality manuscripts in
the Mystery, Thriller, and General Fiction genres.
The full requirements for a
submission are as follows:
1. File and Media Format
Moose Hill Books will accept
any manuscript file processed via Microsoft Word (Windows or Mac), Word Perfect, Adobe PDF, or
any text (.txt or .rtf) file format, attached to an email.
2.
File Contents
Single spaced or
double-spaced documents are fine. We don't get too picky about how it's
formatted—as
long as the document is in the English language, it's fine with us. Also, you do
not need to send a synopsis of your work. Your manuscript will do all the
talking.
The footer of all document
pages should include the word "copyright" or copyright symbol, your name, and the
year of copyright (e.g. Copyright Joan Author 2007, or ©Joan Author 2007).

Addressing
Attach your manuscript file
to email
and send to the following email address: manuscripts@moosehillbooks.com
If
you unable or incapable of using computer technology, go ahead and send your
manuscript in the mail. Use the address on the
Contact Us
page. We will be unable to
return anything you send, so do not send us the only original copy of your work.

Response from Moose
Hill Books
We will read some or all of what you send, but we
don't always provide feedback—there just
isn't enough time in our days. The closer you are to being published, the more
feedback we will give you. Moose Hill Books firmly
believes in working with authors and to ready their manuscripts for publishing, no
matter how long it takes. (For example, Brandon Franklin Hurst, author of
M-Trait and our editorial staff started working on his novel two years
before it was published.) You, the author, are our partner, and
Moose Hill Books cannot exist without your help.
